Evergreen articles in our Jagannath Knowledge Hub focus on history, traditions, stories, Besha, rituals and devotional learning that remain useful beyond a specific date.
Editorial Standards for Sources and Verification
For current articles, our Editorial Standards prefer reliable primary or authoritative sources whenever they are available. These may include official temple or government information, established panchanga references, recognized institutional sources and JustKalinga’s own documented devotional material. When an exact fact cannot be verified, we avoid presenting it as confirmed.
We distinguish between an official announcement, a traditional devotional explanation and a general calendar guide. We do not treat an unverified social-media post as an official Shri Jagannath Temple announcement.
Dates, Timings and Panchanga Differences
Festival dates, tithi boundaries, vrata observance and parana timings can vary by location, tradition and panchanga method. When a timing is location-sensitive, our articles say so and encourage devotees to confirm the exact local time with their trusted panchanga, temple or spiritual guide.
