Panchamukhi Hanuman:
Located on the western side of the Gundicha Temple, near the sacred Indradyumna tank, the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple houses a captivating five-faced deity. Each face represents a different aspect of divine power:
- Varaha (north): The boar incarnation of Vishnu, symbolizing strength and protection.
- Narasimha (south): The man-lion incarnation of Vishnu, representing the destruction of evil.
- Hanuman (east): The monkey god, embodying devotion and selfless service.
- Garuda (west): The mythical eagle, signifying speed and liberation.
- Hayagriva (top): The horse-headed incarnation of Vishnu, representing knowledge and wisdom.

Tapasvi Hanuman:
Situated at the north gate of the Jagannath Temple, Tapasvi Hanuman serves as a guardian of the sacred complex. Also known as Chari-chakra Hanuman, he holds four chakras (discs) in his hands, symbolizing his control over the four directions and his ability to ward off negative energies.
This four-feet tall deity faces east, eternally vigilant in his duty to protect the temple and its devotees.
