MAHAPRABHU SHREE JAGANNATH (BAPA) IS ABSOLUTE TRUE,
OTHER THAN HIM ARE RELATIVELY TRUE….
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over Dwarka, Queen Rukmini approached Satyabhama with a proposal. “Sister,” she suggested, “let us visit our mother-in-law, Rohini, and seek her wisdom on the Rasalila.” Intrigued by the idea of understanding this divine dance of love between Lord Krishna and the gopis, all eight queens eagerly agreed.
Together, they made their way to Rohini’s chambers, their hearts filled with anticipation. Rohini, delighted by their visit and their thirst for knowledge, welcomed them warmly. Maa Subhadra, Rohini’s daughter, was entrusted with guarding the door, ensuring no one, not even Lord Krishna or Balaram, would interrupt their sacred gathering.
In the tranquil atmosphere of Rohini’s chambers, the queens settled down, their minds open and receptive. Rohini, with her deep understanding and devotion, began to narrate the enchanting tale of the Rasalila. She spoke of the gopis’ unwavering love for Lord Krishna, their complete surrender, and the divine ecstasy they experienced in his presence. She explained how the Rasalila was not merely a dance but a profound expression of divine love, a cosmic union between the Lord and his devotees.
As Rohini’s words painted vivid images of the Rasalila, the queens were transported to the banks of the Yamuna River, where the divine dance unfolded under the moonlit sky. They felt the gopis’ yearning for Krishna, their hearts overflowing with devotion. Satyabhama, who had initially harbored reservations about the gopis, found her heart softening as she listened to their tales of selfless love.
Rohini explained how each gopi experienced the Lord’s presence uniquely, yet they were all united in their love for him. She spoke of the flute’s enchanting melody, the gopis’ graceful movements, and the Lord’s playful interactions, creating an atmosphere of divine bliss.
The queens listened with rapt attention, their hearts filled with wonder and devotion. They began to understand the profound significance of the Rasalila, recognizing it as a symbol of the soul’s yearning for union with the divine.
This gathering of the queens, eager to learn about the Rasalila, highlights the importance of seeking knowledge and understanding the deeper meaning behind divine stories. It reminds us that true devotion lies in opening our hearts and minds to the divine love that permeates the universe.
