MAHAPRABHU SHREE JAGANNATH (BAPA) IS ABSOLUTE TRUE,
OTHER THAN HIM ARE RELATIVELY TRUE….
In the grand temple of Puri, where Lord Jagannath reigns supreme, a fascinating mystery unfolds. Beside the majestic deities of Jagannath, Balaram, and Subhadra, stands a unique figure – Lord Sudarshan, not in his familiar disc-like form, but as a pole-like structure. This transformation, unique to Kaliyuga, has a profound spiritual significance rooted in a tale of divine love and devotion.
The story takes us back to Dwapara Yuga, to the opulent palace of Lord Krishna in Dwarka. One wintry night, two of Krishna’s principal queens, Rukmini and Satyabhama, found themselves engrossed in a conversation about the Rasalila. This divine dance of love between Krishna and the gopis of Vrindavan held a special place in their hearts, yet it also stirred a sense of curiosity and even a tinge of jealousy.
Satyabhama, known for her fiery spirit, couldn’t comprehend why Krishna, despite being surrounded by the splendor of Dwarka, still held onto the memories of the Rasalila and the gopis, especially Radha. Rukmini, though more composed, also shared this curiosity. They yearned to understand the depth of Krishna’s love for the gopis and the significance of this celestial dance.
Their curiosity stemmed from a deep desire to understand the nature of divine love. They wondered how Krishna, the Supreme Lord, could be so deeply connected to the gopis, seemingly ordinary women from his childhood.
This curiosity led them to seek answers from those who had witnessed the Rasalila firsthand. They sought out the wisdom of elders and sages, hoping to unravel the mysteries of this divine dance.
Their quest for understanding reflects the human desire to comprehend the divine, to grasp the complexities of love and devotion that transcend the boundaries of the material world. It is a journey of self-discovery, a quest to understand the depths of one’s own heart and the nature of true connection with the divine.
Lord Sudarshan’s transformation in Kaliyuga symbolizes the enduring power of love and devotion. It reminds us that even in the midst of chaos and darkness, the divine presence is always with us, guiding us towards the light.
