Gundicha Temple Darshan Closed for Bahuda Jatra Prep
Jai Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu. ππ
In view of the extensive preparations and numerous rituals for the holy Bahuda Jatra (the Return Car Festival) of Mahaprabhu, public entry at the Simhadwara (Lion’s Gate) of the Shri Gundicha Temple will be closed from 6:00 PM onwards on Friday, 04.07.2025, the day of “Sandhya Darshan” (Evening Darshan).
After the ‘Shodha’ (cleansing) of the Shri Gundicha Temple is conducted at the scheduled time, several other important rituals of the Shri Jius (Deities) will be performed.
Devotees and followers will have the blessed opportunity to have the darshan of the Shri Bigrahas (Deities) aboard the chariots on the day of Bahuda Jatra. Therefore, we appeal to all devotees and followers to cooperate with this arrangement for Sandhya Darshan, considering it as their devoted service towards the execution of the Lord’s rituals.
We seek the cooperation and coordination of all Sevak Nijogs (associations of servitors)
