Shree Mandir Administration Finalizes Ritual Schedule for Debasnana Purnima, Ratha Yatra, Bahuda, and Sunabesha…..
Puri:Β This year, on Ratha Yatra day, June 27, Mangala Alati will be performed at Shree Mandir at 6 AM. After the Ratha Pratishtha (chariot consecration) ritual by 9 AM, Pahandi (procession of deities) will commence at 9:30 AM. The Ratha Tana (chariot pulling) ritual will take place at 4 PM, as per the schedule fixed by the Shree Mandir Administration.
Similarly, for Debasnana Purnima falling on June 11, according to the rituals, Pahandi will be conducted from 5 AM (dawn), and the Snana Niti (bathing ritual) of the deities (Shree Bigraha) will be performed between 12:20 PM and 1:45 PM (midday). The Hati Besha or Gajanana Besha (elephant attire) will be held at 4:30 PM in the afternoon.
On Bahuda (Return Car Festival) day as well, the chariots will be pulled by 4 PM in the afternoon. On July 6, the Sunabesha (golden attire) of Mahaprabhu (the Lord) on the chariots will be performed between 5 PM and 6:30 PM in the evening.
This ritual schedule was finalized at the Shree Mandir Chhatisa Nijog meeting, held under the chairmanship of the Shree Mandir Chief Administrator.
In the meeting, the servitors (Sebayats) expressed their opinions on conducting all rituals, from Mahaprabhu’s Rajendrabhisheka Niti to Niladri Bije, in a disciplined manner.
